Aircraft owner programs · Kansas City, MO

Three clear paths for qualifying aircraft owners.

ATD Air Charter is a direct FAA Part 135 operator, ARGUS Gold Certified, based at Downtown Kansas City Airport (MKC), serving Kansas City aviation since 1996. Eligibility and terms depend on the aircraft, owner, and executed written agreement.

Path 1

NNN Lease

For select aircraft and owners, ATD may discuss an aircraft-specific triple-net lease. The owner retains title. Lease payments, operating duties, owner use, availability windows, insurance responsibilities, tax obligations, maintenance allocation, scheduled-downtime periods, term length, and exit provisions are individually negotiated and set in a written, aircraft-specific agreement. ATD retains operational control for all ATD-operated flights.

Only the executed aircraft-specific agreement controls. This is not an offer, quote, guarantee, forecast, or tax, legal, accounting, financing, insurance, or investment advice. Eligibility depends on aircraft model, year, condition, records, configuration, mission, utilization, financing, owner use, insurance, regulatory requirements, and due diligence.

Path 2

Management with Possible Charter

For qualifying aircraft, ATD may discuss a written management agreement that may include charter placement under ATD's Part 135 certificate. Scope may encompass scheduling coordination, crew coordination, maintenance and compliance coordination, records administration, and charter administration. Fees, owner-use terms, reserve structures, operational control, and revenue treatment are aircraft- and contract-specific and are determined in the executed written agreement.

Scheduling coordination

Owner-use windows, availability, and scheduling procedures are defined in the written agreement.

Maintenance & compliance

Coordination scope, responsibilities, and cost allocation are aircraft- and contract-specific.

Charter administration

If charter placement is included, revenue treatment and operational control are documented in the agreement.

Path 3

Private Management Without Charter

For owners seeking professional management without charter placement, ATD may discuss a private-use management arrangement covering staffing coordination, maintenance coordination, records coordination, and vendor coordination—without charter placement, Part 135 activity, or substitute-aircraft access. No charter revenue is generated under this path. Any Part 135 activity, substitute-aircraft access, or other benefits outside this scope require separate written documentation.
